Mountainside/Riverside program
3 week adventure program that includes rock climbing, white water canoeing, backpacking, mountain biking & wilderness tripping.
Work with children ages 12-15. Ten or eleven campers per group working with two adults plus support staff.

CCB is located in Western North Carolina where we are surrounded by some of the best rock climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, hiking, fly fishing, sea kayaking and mountain boarding in the country. And we are hiring instructors for all of these positions!
Our campers come from all over the world and choose CCB for the High adventure activities we offer as well as the skilled, passionate, trained and awesome staff we have each year.
Our Adventure staff train for up to 5 weeks and receive subsidized/free Internationally recognized courses based on their activity department

Will obtain wilderness certifications during staff training to take away with you after Summer is over!

Staff training is May 22nd - June 10th. First half of the Summer session start June 11th - July 8th, second half July 9th - August 12th (full Summer options as well!)
Responsible for the coordination and implementation all land activities - mountain biking, hiking/backpacking, etc.

We are a noncompetitive, non-regimented camp focused on fun, growth and instruction. We need people who enjoy working and living with children and have skills in: backpacking, climbing, mountain biking, whitewater boating, sailing, horseback riding, swimming, environmental education, tennis and arts and crafts.
Everyone who works at Mondamin has three basic responsibilities: Teaching skills and leading trips in an outdoor activity. Working directly with kids as a counselor, advisor, and advocate. And participation and influence as a member of the camp community.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study at a college or university (or equivalent). Should have experience in and be willing to teach one or more of our activities (some training provided).
Salaries are individually determined based on your age, experience and skills. Our salaries compare favorably with most other camps and rise as you prove yourself. All food and lodging is provided. Time off: everyone gets 36 hours per week leave (a day and 2 nights).
